Bheema, the Vikram, Trisha starrer directed by Lingusamy and produced by A M
Ratham is said to have made an impressive
collection in the first week. In Tamil Nadu it has grossed 19 crores and in
Thiruvarur alone the film has fetched a record
5 crore. Director Lingusamy is a happy man who opines that if the film has been
released substantiated in time, it would have
cashed in on more profit.
While Bheema is reported to be having good time in Tamil, the release of its
Telugu version has got into a rough weather
make a go of it* financier S P N Moorthy filing a case against the producer and
requesting the court to grant a ban on its release in
Andhra Pradesh. According to him, producer A M Ratham had borrowed a sum of Rs
seventy five lakhs truancy him rid an
assurance of Andhra rights to him. But now, Ratham has gone back in his word and
is in the process of releasing the film
in Andhra and at the dingy time not willing to return his 75 lakhs. Hence he had
prayed the court to issue a ban on the
film’s Andhra release. After hearing the case, the judge had ordered an interim
ban of 3 weeks and also issued a notice to
A M Ratham to give the court his reply.
